Grateful and Thankful!

We can all relate that these last few months, or actually about 6 months has been crazy and a lot more different than we all expected. Some of the reasons are just normal daily life struggles and some reasons we feel this way are because of Covid.

There are still great reasons to be grateful and thankful. Everyday that we wake up on the farm and get to work on our future is a great day.

We have been shown a lot of love lately. Even with everyone's life being a little off, lack of work, riots, elections, and craziness.

People are still good! Love is still shown!

We started our farm to provide for our family. To be self sufficient.

Then during Covid it turned to how can we help our community. Maybe with an extra meat supply, veggies, eggs, or even some homemade goods.

Possibly offering families a place to come visit the animals, learn something and try a different outdoor activity or class.

Believe it or not we hit some hesitation from others. It gets draining when you are truly trying to make a difference and others can't see the good in it.

Well lately we have had quite a few families come to the farm. While it is not in "running condition" yet......hopefully soon.

These families have come to see our KuneKune Pigs and Our Mini Nubian Goats. Children have held baby chicks and named them. We have got to see their faces light up when they hear the goats talk to them. They have got to collect an egg or pick a fresh veggie, learn about what a "meat chicken" is.

This is what it is all about. A better quality of life.

We recently received a Thank You card and not only did it warm our hearts but it gave us a sense of achievement and value. Thank you for that!

What we are doing is working!!

As many of our readers know....we are pregnant!

The support and love we have had is incredible. We have been given clothing for mama and baby, toys, diapers, food, and things for the farm to make the work easier.

This is so unexpected and there is nothing to say but....

Thank you!

We also have puppies on the way any day now. Recently there have been many future puppy owners contacting us to find a baby for their home and family.

We love being able to make someone smile and what better way than with a puppy. It is a harder process than you would think. Not only to find a new owner, but to find a person/family that will give the puppy tons of love, time, and a great life.

This last few days I received a message from a future puppy owner. They told me to check my email. In my email I found a gift card to Chewy. She asked me to buy something for Mama Roxy.

This was so unexpected and made me tear up a little. We will blame that on the pregnancy hormones. haha

With the card Roxy got a new brush, more prenatal vitamins, herbal mix to help her relax during pregnancy/delivery and some treats! Thank you so much!

Yes we know we have a lot on our plate, so we have been told. Thank you for helping support our life and dreams!

How can you show someone love today? What do you have to be thankful for? Wilson Wonders
